T-CUP
The T-CUP was designed and tested at Black Diamond testing facility in Park City Utah for an outdoor product design challenge at Utah State University. The whole piece was designed in SolidWorks and the main pieces were cut with a water jet. The rods and rollers were machined by hand, and the icons were designed in Illustrator and etched with a laser.
RAPID Belay
The RAPID was also created for the Black Diamond design challenge though it was purely conceptual and never fully tested. The RAPID is made from high durometer silicon that fits tightly around interchangeable tubes that can easily be switched depending on rope size.
The RAPID was designed to be unique and interesting will still maintaining functionality.
